(From Official Clippers Press Release) The LA Clippers 2024-25 City Edition uniform is Chapter Two of the story arc, celebrating the love of basketball that defines the city, culture and organization. Designed by renowned LA-based artist Jonas Wood—a lifelong basketball fan and Clippers season ticket holder—the uniform features a refreshed Pacific blue colorway for the base. It blends retro and modern styles, drawing inspiration from the Clippers’ 1980s uniforms and incorporating distinctive basketball elements.

For Chapter Two, Jonas and I kept the momentum going, refreshing the uniform colorway while staying true to the original vision and this time throwing it back with the clear nod to the San Diego Clippers and 1980's NBA uniforms. Working closely with the NBA and Nike, we made sure every detail hit right. For the photoshoot, I built on the throwback aesthetic but pushed it further—mixing classic sports portraiture with a more cinematic, in-the-moment feel. Think vintage textures, natural lighting, and that raw, unfiltered energy of 80s and 90s hoops culture. It was all about evolving the story while keeping it authentic to the game’s roots.
